Regular Season Round 3: Dubai - Cluj Napoca 81-77

There was a small surprise when UAEDubai (3-0) defeated at home Romanian Cluj Napoca (1-1) 81-77 on Sunday. It was a great evening for Canadian center Mfiondu Kabengele (207-1997, college: FSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Serbian power forward Filip Petrusev (211-2000, college: Gonzaga) helped adding 9 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American point guard Daron Russell (180-1998, college: Maryland) with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian center Dusan Miletic (213-1998) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Cluj Napoca players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game.
